Shyam was born in India and completed a Bachelor in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Mumbai. He previously worked as an Application Developer at IBM India Pvt Ltd and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Engineering and Analytics at the Technical University Munich.
