Measurement, KPIs, and Continuous Improvement
How to measure the impact of your architecture — and keep it improving.
Why Measurement Matters
A job and skill architecture is an investment. Measuring its impact is essential for: justifying the investment to leadership, identifying areas for improvement, and demonstrating compliance to regulators and auditors.

Continuous Improvement Process
- Monthly dashboard review — Architecture owner reviews KPIs, flags deviations, identifies trends.
- Quarterly calibration — Cross-functional review of levels and skill profiles. Are they still accurate? Are new roles needed?
- Annual strategic review — Align architecture with business strategy. New markets, new products, AI transformation, regulatory changes — all may require architecture updates.
- Feedback integration — Managers and employees provide input on role accuracy. This feedback drives the next improvement cycle.
